Who Should Buy SONGMICS Bed Desk?
Good fit
Choose it if you work or read in bed and want to adjust both the tray height and screen angle. The symmetrical surface also makes sense if you use a mouse and want space on either side.
It is also a fit for buyers who want one surface for laptop sessions and occasional crafts or breakfast. Flattening the tilt top creates a 13.8 by 27.5 inch desktop for those alternate uses.
Who should skip it
Skip it if your laptop exceeds the stated 14.3-inch fit or your combined load could exceed 22 pounds. Those limits make the tray a poor match for a larger or heavier setup.
It may also be the wrong form for buyers who want a compact cushioned lap desk for use directly on their legs; this is a folding bed tray with adjustable legs and a tilt top.
SONGMICS Bed Desk: Fit and Everyday Use
A raised setup for bed work
The adjustable legs and tilt are the defining choices here.
They let you set the tray height and select from five angles, so the desk is aimed at a raised work surface rather than a simple board resting on your lap.
Space for a mouse and more
At 27.5 inches wide, the flat desktop is sized to handle more than a laptop alone. Its symmetrical layout leaves mouse room on either side, which gives left- and right-handed users the same basic arrangement.
Understand the fit limits
The stated laptop fit reaches up to 14.3 inches and the supported load is up to 22 pounds. Check your device dimensions and the total weight of anything you plan to set on the tray against both limits.
A tray with uses beyond computing
When you remove the laptop, the tilt top can be flattened for crafts or breakfast.
That makes the desk more versatile for home routines, though its raised legs and folding tray format should suit the space where you plan to use and store it.
